We are connecting a research network at Northwestern, Underwriters Laboratories Inc., and partner universities to advance toward the operationalization of safety in machine intelligence. CASMI advances fundamental research, evaluates the human impacts of intelligent technologies, and develops best practices for the design, development, and evaluation of systems to ensure they are safe, equitable, and beneficial to all.
